How to Join

Those who meet the eligibility requirements may join Hudson River Teachers Federal Credit Union.  Opening an account is easy.  With only a $5.00 initial deposit into your share savings account and a $1.00 one time membership fee, you can take advantage of all of the products and services Hudson River Teachers FCU has to offer.  The $5.00 deposit represents your share in the credit union and must remain in the account for the duration of your membership.   Simply stop by our office to fill out a membership application or download a new account form here to get started.  We invite you to discover the many benefits of credit union membership by becoming a part of the growing Hudson River Teachers FCU family.  You’ll be glad you did!

Membership Eligibility

Now it’s easier than ever to qualify for membership and you don’t have to be a teacher to join!  If you are an employee, student or member of the Boards of Education of any of the school districts listed below, you are eligible to join. If you are an employee of any of our credit union partner groups listed below, you are also eligible for membership.  Retirees of these organizations and family members related by blood or marriage are also invited to join. And once you’re a member, you’re membership is for life, no matter where you live or work.

In today’s business world, companies know how important maintaining an attractive benefits package can be to their employees and that the sky rocketing costs of providing these benefits can add up quickly, regardless of the size of their workforce. When you become a credit union partner company or select employee group (SEG), you add all the opportunities and advantages that come with credit union membership to your benefits package at no cost to you! There is never any paperwork or reporting on your part, just a letter requesting credit union services. We do the rest. It’s that simple.

Hudson River Teachers FCU invites your organization to consider becoming a Credit Union Partner (SEG). If you’re interested in learning more about this valuable employee benefit, please give us a call at (914) 526-4015 ext. 17.
